Here we are, the last day of the year, again, hard to tell if that went fast, lol! Hopefully this finds you well, what a crazy year!
So, I didn't want to let the day and year finish without wishing the massively talented Illustrator/Comic Book Artist and Co Creator of "Nexus", Steve Rude a Happy Birthday, December 31st, that's today! As I'm sure you know Steve has worked in the comics industry for over 35 years! "His first work for DC Comics appeared in Tales of the Teen Titans #48 (Nov. 1984). Rude also collaborated with writer Dave Gibbons on the World's Finest miniseries for DC in 1990."
And I know I have mentioned this before, but if you ever have a chance to sit down with one of Steve's personal sketch books, don't miss out, they are incredible! I had the pleasure of photographing Steve a few years ago in his studio for my "Artist Within: Book 2", Here’s that shot, have a look around!
